I agree and have been saying this for awhile. All these guys have a man crush on him and don't look at the way it is. His "stats" are padded. Excluding the illegal "Bush Push" Quinn never beat USC(and he didn't officially beat USC in that game.) He struggled against Top 10 teams and USC. He beat the Service Academies, that aren't there for football. They get decent players but I think part of why Notre Dame REALLY wants to stay independent is so they keep those games and the softer schedule.

I dont know about being a bust in the NFL because we have seen worse players go to the NFL and grow immensly and do great things. But he is a very overrated player in this years draft due to the lack of explosive quarterbacks. If you look at this year compared to last year you have a bad version of Michael Vick in Jamarcus Russel and an even worse version of Matt Leinart in Brady Quinn. I would really like to see how Quinn does when he isnt playing on one of the better teams (dont know how much better but still better) That will decide if he will flop or will excel.

Sep 16 Michigan L(47-21) 50% Completion Pct. 3 INTS
Nov 26 USC L(44-24) 48% Completion Pct. Sacked 3 Times
Jan 4 LSU L(41-14) 42% Completion Pct. 2 INTS
The games he won were against:
Georgia Tech (They should've lost)
Penn State
Michigan State
Purdue
Stanford
UCLA (With Luck)
Navy
North Carolina
Air Force
Army
All of these teams are respectable in college football, but they were INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS! If he played in the SEC he would've showed the performance he showed against LSU, Michigan, and USC. That's why he escaped to Notre Dame. So he wouldn't have to play these teams as much. Sure Weis showed him a little bit of the NFL kind of offense, but can he handle the speed of the NFL? We'll have to wait and see, but I think he is highly overrated.

Other than Russell? I think he could do good as a starter with a GREAT offensive line. Its all about the system. For example Joey Harrington could have done good with another team and Tom Brady would still be a nobody if the Lions drafted him.

Think again you idiot...It is obviously the guy everyone is talking about going #1....JeMarcus Russell AKA Ryan Leaf. How can a guy going anywhere from #6-#12 be overrated?
And trust me I hate Brady Quinn.

Way too much hype I say
I have watched him in college and I have never seen him really play well against a good team, yea he has torched garbage teams, but he never showed up in ANY big games in college and these are the same people that bash troy smith for playing bad in one big game
I think at best he will be ok, but there is no way I can see him being as good as everyone says he is

that phrase, over rated, is the most over used, and miss used phrase in sports today, in a recent player pole in the NFL urlacher and manning were both rated in the top 5 of best players in there position by there peers, and the same ppl voted them the most over rated, they and quinn is not over rated they are over hyped and that is miss construed with over rated trust me quinn is not over rated just over hyped, he is a great QB

Not me........I think he is the best QB in the draft.....Russell might have a big arm but an arm only gets you so far....Quinn is ready to go. Hes really football smart and hes mobile.........Russell reminds me of Dante Culpepper....An okay QB but not great...........
