Horoscopes do work, but not all of them!
If you're reading a daily forecast in a newspaper, just considering your sun sign, it's probably be around 5% true, but that might be just a coincidence There is one newspaper in my town in which is written at least once in 2 weeks that exactly that day, pisceans will meet love of their life - according to that, I should be having a hundreds of boyfriends by now!
On the other side, if professional astrologist will take your data, make your natal chart, calculate your progressions etc. than prediction should be 100% correct. Of course you can't expect accuracy of one day in prediction or exact count of something. Astrology has it's limits. You can't ask astrologer if your salary on a new job will be 1500$ or 1700$, but he/she can tell you if you're gonna get a chance to get a good job, approx. when, and if you'll be happy on that job or not if you accept it. Astrology is not showing us something that IS GOING TO happen, but WHAT COULD happen if we alow it.

NO.
They can not actually predict future events or any such thing. A person's personality is a function of their cultural / physical environment and their upbringing, not some ancient, human-contrived, randomly assigned patterns of stars and planets.
They only APPEAR to predict things correctly sometimes – when this happens it is called a coincidence. Most commonly they are written with such general, unspecific language that they can be interpreted in multiple ways, such that if a person wants or needs to believe that they work, then they will justify it in their minds.
Only weak-minded, foolish, or mentally lazy people buy into this stuff.

If you have time, read all of the signs daily horoscopes in the paper for example and Im sure you will find elements of truth and relevance in ea and every one of them. There is alot of wisdom to be had if you read it for face value, dont go assessing your life on what they say but keep mental notes of the encouraging and inspiring messages they give. Just enjoy it with a light heart - there cant be any harm in that.

No, horoscopes can't predict anything! But what they say about personality is quite true. It is all 50-50.

Um... looking for your fortune from a horoscope is like believing the fortunes on fortune cookies. Those things are mass-produced, designed to entertain, not to divine the future. Otherwise, don't you think a ton of people from Leo/Aquarius/Aries/etc. would be having the same days?

They always work for me. It's so fun to read it and then watch out for that "Special Event" to happen all day long. Today mine said to write a note to my crush, and something sweet may happen! I did, and something sweet did happen!

I pay for mine, and I get about 1 a week that is dead on. The other 6 days are just feelings, thoughts, or mishaps, but mostly, very eerily correct.

Ask for evidence and independent test results. Astrology can and has been tested.
