When you get your period your uterus contracts to help the blood flow out, and sometimes it can get a little inflamed, causing the colon to resent and give you gases, abdominal pain diarrhea or constipation.

This is normal as the body is undergoing a lot of hormonal changes and a lot of us eat differently because we are craving "bad" foods. As far as the gas goes, there is not a lot you can do but you can use gas drops/caps if you get really uncomfortable. For the constipation you should try to eat a lot of fruit/veggies or use a stool softener.

Women can get a variety of symptoms during their period.
Some women have to go to the toilet more to urinate or poop, some don't. I certainly have those symptoms.
You're perfectly normal. For the constipation, eat more leafy green vegetables and yogurt; they help tremendously. Increase your water intake to help ease the constipation as well.
Another trick: Massage your abdomen to help move the stool downward.

Yes this happens to a lot of women. Be sure to increase your fiber at this time of the month.

For me it's the opposite. I tend to be more regular on my period.
Just drink plenty of water & you should be alright.
