I used to be completely breastfeeding (and in addition expressing to construct up a inventory of frozen breastmilk for while I lower back to paintings) and my interval lower back at 20 weeks. My child were napping by way of the night time (7-nine hours) from approximately 6 weeks to four months however then began waking and feeding each and every three hours in the course of the night time (as he did in the course of the day) and a few weeks later my interval began. It has been lovely constant considering then - the primary few occasions have been so much lighter than my intervals have been earlier than I acquired pregnant however then they lower back to how they have been earlier than I acquired pregnant. I did not begin weaning my child on solids till 6 months, so my interval lower back earlier than then.

I nursed my daughter, when she started eating baby food and stopped nursing exclusively was when I got my period back. That was when she was about 6 months. However, with my son my period was immediately back into the swing of things.

its hard to say because everybodys body responds in a diffrent way. I breastfeed( working on weaning) and still havent gotten a period. its been 15months since his birth. I know that I still havent gotten mine because !. breastfeeding and 2. my weight(its too low, cant gain any). I did have light spotting after about 4 months of breastfeeding but that was it. nothing since then.

Well I'm at 5 months post, breastfeeding and supplementing with solids...and still no "little friend" ...so...bottom line..everyone is different...It could come back at ANY time.
By the way, I like your user name...Do you know the book
"Is your mama a llama?" It's a super cute book...I ask because we read that book to my son everynight and I've picked up the name mamallama at home because of it...your user name made me think of it.
Super cute...check it out

I breastfed exclusively and got mine at about 6-7 weeks...so if you're not ready for another make SURE you're using a birth control method (you've ALREADY ovulated once).
