i don't do anything or go anywhere, with the people i call my friends, because they are always so busy or atleast that's what they say.
do friends hang out with each other.

Is it very hard to find real friends in this life. Do you talk about personal issues with them? Do you go to them with your problems,& them to you? Would you trust them with your feelings? Are these your work colleagues? Sorry to be so blunt, but maybe they only see you as an aquaintance. There are things that make friends, friends. I wish I could tell you exactly what, but I do think you can tell when a person is genuine. Maybe you should try & get a hobby or something, try & meet new people or something. i hope you ok.

In my opinion (apparently not everyones - previous 'friends') friends hang out, make time to see each other and put the effort in to stay in contact and that works both ways.
If its someone you occasionally see but don't really speak to or speak to and don't see then I'd say they were an acquaintance. My fingers are crossed for you that your friends are just genuinely busy in which case tell them to get there act together..
