like, say the words life and death, one word! you read one one way, flip it upside down and you see the other word.

you see the words life and death as one word, but, you read the word life, then flip it upside down and it reads death, two words but you see them as one.

Perhaps you just mean a type of optical illusion? You've seen one that involves words that were opposites?

can you explain what you mean by 'flip it upside down and you see the other word'? (unless it is oxymoron you meant, but life and death isn't an example of oxymoron)

Oxymoron, which is itself an example as it is from two words meaning "sharp" and "dull".
