I've been at holiday camps sharing sleeping quaters, and some girls just leave their panties curled up on the floor with the other dirty clothes. Other incidents like this happens when visisting some ppl's house to find the same thing in the bathroom. Or a peek through the bedroom door left ajar, and you see panties and thongs hanging on the dresser or a chair.
I think it's gross. To me , it means those people are untidy, ad have no cleanliness, or they have no respect for themselves and other ppl. Sometimes you just have to wonder whether their panties are clean? or if u have to avoid looking at the crotch area. I believe clean underwear should be folded neatly in the drawers or should be out of public's view in a laundry basket when they are dirty...If the underwears are NOT lying around in inappropriate places, we don't have to guess...

i'm not talking about cleaning the house here! Just pick up ur dirty underwear after u take it off and put it safely away.
Clean ones are usually not curled up.

No Offene ppl, but I wasn't thinking of underwear until some ppl made me notice them! PEEPING OR NOT, I WOULD USE THEIR BATHROOM ANYWAY. BY THE WAY, i saw the bedrooms, bcoz my host was showing me around her house! I wasn't being sneaky, get it?
I refer to Inspector's comments, of course underwear on a clothing line means they are CLEAN! I grew up on my tropical island and we dry washing on a line outside in the breeze

Maybe I am old fashioned. Laundry should be folded and put away. In any case, clothes should not be laying around a house when you have company. That is just dirty housekeeping. And I wouldn't want to be invited there for dinner, that's for sure.

What is the difference with having underwear hanging out on a clothes line for everyone to see your kind of underwear?
I leave my underwear in the bathroom as I have a shower before going to bed, and would not particularly want to go outside to place my underwear in the washroom. My wife then collects it in the morning and transfer it to the washroom and it is nicely folded till she wash it.
When I visit other peoples homes I go there to see them, not how they live and provided their underwear is not dangling from my cup of coffee it is for them to work out their living conditions.
While it might be nice if other people (whomever they are) were to be tidy I think you would have to be more concerned if those so called "tidy" people are in fact clean.
After all, I hate to be presented with a cup of coffee where around the ear the dirt is still baked on. Then, I somehow have lost all desire to drink from such a filthy cup, no matter how clear they might otherwise pretent to be.

We all have different standards and some people may just not see anything wrong with leaving their underwear lying about when going to bed as they may consider it for the washing machine anyhow.
As long as they do not ask you to clean up after them you might just have to leave them in what they are doing.

I would not recommend to peep into bathrooms! You might just find an undy deposited that a person just removed, and accidently left the door ajar.

*shrug* If it bothers you so much, don't "peek through the bedroom door left ajar."

I do tend to toss my laundry in a pile in the corner, and hey, sometimes the underwear's on top. I'm not a slob, but I have better things to do than clean house all day.

As to whether they're clean or dirty? Just to put your mind at ease ... if they're on the floor, they're dirty. If they're in the laundry basket, they're clean and haven't been put away.

But really, who cares?

It is disgusting.
I am not a person who LOVES housekeeping, but that is beyond what's OK to me.
That said, I once had a friend who left her undies around the house. Otherwise a lovely person, she grew up with a maid and thought it was beyond her to clean up after herself.
Good luck

I agree that there is no place for untidiness. However other people disagree and to each there own. As long as the underwear is not sticking to the wall I can ignore it.

not everyone is raised with the same beliefs about how to keep house.

I always tried to do like my Momma told me "Don't go visiting people to see how they keep house. Go to see the people!"

If you are uncomfortable, take some fun, decorated "gift" hampers for everyone as your little camp surprise for your cabin mates.

If they are at their own home, ignore it. If it really bothers you, don't go over any more or volunteer to help them 'rearrange their room'.

I agree! There is no reason for me to have to see someone elses dirty or clean panties lying around. That is nasty! It makes me think that they are just major dirtballs. Nobody wants to see that!!

I have to agree with you 95% but I don't bother myself with wondering (like you do ) if their panties are clean or not ...hay.... they have to wear them ...not me...smile...I know mine are clean, and really that's all that you should worry about, take care of the things you can...and those that you can not..........forget about them.......
