Yes, of course! I'm 31 weeks pregnant and you have to avoid stuff like soft (unpasturised) cheese, nut's, raw eggs and certain shell fish, pate and home made mayo. Ham and chickens fine as long as it's cooked properly. I have ham from the deli on my sarnies for work most days.
Good luck!

Congratulations!
There is so much hype these days over what you can or can't eat I totally understand your confusion!
I found the following article which explains Listeria in more detail:
Listeria is a type of bacteria found everywhere. Listeria can cause a food-borne illness called listeriosis, which is extremely dangerous for a pregnant women and her unborn baby. Listeriosis can cause premature delivery, miscarriage, and fetal death. A pregnant woman is more susceptible to Listeriosis because of the normal pregnancy changes that affect your immune system.
Listeria are unusual because they can grow at refrigeration temperatures of 40 degrees or below. Only cooking kills them. Therefore follow these food safety tips:
* Do not eat hot dogs, luncheon meats, or deli meats unless they are reheated until steaming hot.
* Do not eat soft cheeses such as feta (goat cheese), Brie, Camembert, blue-veined cheese, Roquefort, Mexican soft cheese, queso blanco, queso fresco queso do hoja, queso de crea, and asadero. If you do use these soft cheeses they should be cooked until boiling.
* Be sure to use dairy products that are pasteurized and labeled.
* Do not eat refrigerated pate, and meat spreads. Canned or shelf-stable pate and meat spreads can be eaten.
I know when looking at what you can and can't eat some information on the net conflicts - but its your judgement call at the end of the day.
Wishing you all the very best with the pregnancy :-)

Prepared meats, such as those available at a deli counter, including hot dogs or turkey, beef and chicken preparations, should not be consumed unless you re-heat them until steaming. Why?
These preparations may be contaminated with a substance called Listeria. These bacteria can harm your baby severely, and may even cause miscarriage or result in a stillborn delivery. Listeria is nothing to joke about, thus it is vital that you avoid the deli counter while pregnant.
Imported Soft Cheeses: Like deli meat, imported unpasteurized cheeses including blue cheese, feta, Brie or camembert should be avoided. These may also contain Listeria.

Fresh chicken is fine -watch out for hams, salamis and other cured meats - as many deli meats have nitrates in them, which although everyone should avoid them, pregnant women should steer clear.

If it is not out of date and has been stored in the fridge, then go ahead and enjoy.
