Football provides a good chance at quick money, but baseball will take some time getting to the parent club. Baseball does provide a longer career and less bodily damage repercussions as I age. What would you choose?

Depends on your position in either sport; your potential position will determine both your salary and your playing time; and depends upo how good you are in either

(Football - running back 8-12 years, 1-8 mill
lineman 10-15 years 1-3mill
Baseball - Pitcher 12-15 years 1-8mill
catcher 10 years 2-8mill
1st base 20 years 1-8mill)

Now, if you are the next Albert Pujols, you would be much better going with baseball - your career will be longer and pay more. But, if you can throw accurately, but not pitch more than 90mph, you might be the next Brett Favre.) But if you are a good player on a decent team, even then your chances of making pro are slim to none. You have to be standout, as in light years ahead of the other players you play with.

When I was in high school, the star pitcher of our school was also the best catcher. He looked really good in school, but got overused and never made it beyond lower minor leagues. So you can be a star in your area, but remember you are competing against stars from other areas. What makes you so special? If you know that, you might have something.

Depends on what your best at. A successful baseball player will make MUCH more money in the long run than a football player.

I prefer baseball, but it is what you are best at. Baseball offers a more rewarding achievement then football. You have to show all your ability and the reward is tremendous!!!

You should do the sport that you like the most to do and not let anyone else decide for you because it is up to you to decide which one you like.
