What kind of guppie do you have? is he a baby? Was the mother prego when you bought her or do you have any common guppies in the tank?

It is possible your babie guppie is a mix of common and something else which will result in a color loss.

What are your water params? Ammonia nitrates etc?

When was the last time you did a water change?

Test your water to ensure all is well. If he isn't swimming funny, he is eating itis possible he is a cross breed.

1) Check the water chemistry 2) any signs of disease? 3) what quality of food are you feeding? It will intesify the colours of guppies.
