Why is she crying? You need to talk to the people in her school, but you need to know what the problem is first. Is it the teachers, the classes, the other students, academic problems or problems at home or in her personal life. Changing schools could help some problems but make other problems worse. If you live in a rural area where she is going to have to travel a long distance to travel to an alternative school or if you would have to put her in a private school whose tuition will put a financial strain on your family, it could cause more damage than good. It is the end of the school year, there is only 8 weeks left at most. Transfering her now would hurt her academically. If she really wants to transfer do it over summer so she starts fresh in the fall. The knowledge that she is transfering may help her get through the next few weeks.

Since it is a school problem you may get no help from the principal and flat out refusal even the blame being placed on your child. Go to the district. You will need to find a district you can transfer your child to that is close and has a spot open. Talk to the school you wish to send your child to and apply for a transfer - principals have little to do but see them. FYI - you may have to home school for the remainder of the year since it is so late in the term - be prepared for that possibility. For future you may want to see if there is a local community or church school she may do better in. Good Luck!

the real question to this problem is does your daughter want to switch schools if she does just go talk to the principal and tell the principal you are moving and you want to transfer your daughter from the school she is currently attending to the new school..
