I think it's because when it's sunny & warm outside we think of the good times & it's enjoyable. When it's raining/cloudy it gets depressing because we are limited on our outdoor activities... Good ? Have you ever heard of S.A.D.

Well take a look at winter and the lack of sunlight. Alaska, I believe still has the highest suicide rate. It's proven we need the sunlight! Depression is high without it. Also, cold weather causes pain for those who have arthritis. Pain affects everyone's mood!

I don't know, but when it's rainy, I get sooooo sluggish and just want to call in from work and sleep. Maybe because we were made from the Earth and there's some type connection that we don't realize.

because people are in essence highly perceptual , therefore human psyche works in a way the interprets ocassion and in particulat colors and habitats , accordingly to their defintion in that very individual they make a particular sense therefore resulting in mood alteration

Yes! When the sun is out, you get Vitamin D from it which increases Serotonin in the brain! Making you happier.

For me it does.
When it is sunny and happy, Im the same way.
When it is cold and gray, Im the same way.
I think it depends on who you are.
