can a woman be forced by the courts to give her ex partner access to their baby even if he has both physically and mentally abused her. he has also never contrbuted financially or taken much interest in the child til now (child is nearly 2 )scottish laws?

I'm Scottish and the dad has his rights to see the kids. I don't know if its different when no maintenance is paid. My ex gets the kids when I say he can have them that's the way we have done it through the solicitors and hes happy with that because he doesn't want them every weekend.

do not no the legal answer but if what you state is true then go to the law of the jungle and i am Dad [divorced] never have i not wanted to see my sons or contribute financially for them[Scotland]
