why was bill cosby always called huxstable? was the cosby show being showed the same time era as punky brewster? what happened to the girl who played punky brewster? plus is it true that the girl who played mr drummonds daughter in 'different strokes' is dead?

bill Cosby's last name on the show was huxstable it was on from 1984-1992 Punky Brewster was on from 1984-1988 the girl who played punky brewster Since that show ended she has appeared in numerous movies, directed a film and written a screenplay for a movie about experiences a group of teenagers encounter in a café. Her name is Soleil Moon Frye she got married in 1998 to Jason Goldberg they have one child. The girl who played Mr Drummonds daughter is dana plato and yes she died in 1999 died of an overdose from Vanadom and Vicodin. Her death at age 35 was eventually ruled a suicide. However, both Gary Coleman and Todd Bridges, both of whom remained friends with Plato after Diff'rent Strokes ended, have said they do not believe she intended to kill herself

I loved the cosby show - their surname was huxstable that is why he was called that and yes the daughter from different strokes commited suicide in 1999 or 2000 she got caught up in drink and drugs - I also remember sesame street, never seen punky brewster though or heard of it

He was always called Huxstable because it was his last name. His first name was Phil. Yes, Punky Brewster was on at the same time as Cosby show but it didnt stay on the air as long... The girl who played Punky is still an actress... she was in Saved by the Bell and several other shows. Dunno about the girl on Different Strokes... you need to watch E! they always have specials on this sort of stuff.

Omg A few of my favorite shows!! Bill Cosby's character on his show was named Heathcliff Huxstable and he was a doctor so I guess a lot of people on the show used his last name. Punky Brewster aka Soliel Moon Frye is all grown up now and she has had several small roles and many shows throughout the years. She is married and has a kids now. Still acting and i think directing too. I am not so sure about the last character you mentioned

I dressed up as Punky Brewster for Halloween in first grade 1986 or 1987. I ended up sitting in the corner all day b/c I was bad in class :(

Huxtable was his last name. I remember the name punky brewster, little girl with brown hair and loads of ribbons and stuff in it. I think I was in primary schl then so early 80's? Yes Mr Drummonds daughter died quite a few years ago, drugs. I watched some programme about them & will, the brother went prison.

Huxstable was thier last name. Soliel Moonfry (a.k.a. Punky Brewster.) is now on a new show I can't think of the name right now. I don't think Mr. Drummonds daughter is dead, but I'm not sure on that one.

Huxstable was the family name, Mr. Drummonds daughter died of a drug overdose some years ago. Punky Brewster is a recovering heroin addict she plays wedding and batmistfas with her band and does softcore porn.. Just kidding about punky but everything else is true.

I kinda remember, He was called Huxstable because that was his last name. And Punky Brewster was in the 80s too. The girl who played punky brewster was in sabrina the teenage witch and damn she is hot. I don't know about the last part though. Check out IMDB.com
