Yes, in fact, blacks should formally thank whites for enslaving them.
Most Africans are starving. Nothing to eat but face flies and corn mush.

The bank says the total combined income of 48 countries in Africa is little
more than that of Belgium.
In the last 40 years, average incomes per person in Africa have stagnated
while they have grown in most of the rest of the world.
Africa now accounts for only 1% of the total world economic output and 2% of
world trade.
And in fact, you can still buy black slaves in Africa for only $30

In his book "Disposable People," Bales says ownership is no longer an attractive proposition for most slaveholders because the price of slaves is so low. In 1850, a slave would cost about $40,000 in today's dollars. Now, you can buy a slave for $30 in the Ivory Coast. The glut "has converted them from being the equivalent of buying a car to buying a plastic pen that you use and throw away," he says. That makes maintenance of the "investment" a low priority, and little care is taken for slaves' well-being.

Slavery in Niger is not an obscure thing, nor a curious relic of the past, it is an intrinsic part of society today.
A Nigerian study has found that almost 8% of the population are slaves.
The slave owners encourage the slaves to reproduce to increase their numbers, sometimes even determining when they have sexual intercourse.
They treat the slaves like their cattle.
Slaves are often beaten for small misdemeanours.
They work long hours and are sometimes deprived of food as punishment.
There are documented cases of slaves being stripped naked in front of their families to humiliate them, of female slaves being raped by their owners, and even of male slaves being castrated by their owners as punishment.

Forum focuses on modern-day slavery in northern Africa
LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- Moctar Teyeb, a native of Mauritania, is a man in the United States, but he is "property" in his homeland.
Teyeb was among those who gave first-hand accounts Thursday of modern-day slavery experiences in Sudan and Mauritania at a symposium held by the Simon Wiesenthal Center Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles.

They've never experienced it even though they think they have. They use it as a cheap excuse not to do a thing with their lives except complain. If it weren't for slavery, they would be living in dung huts, eating primates/bush meat and dreaming of the day they could move to America. I wish we could deport half of the negroids and bring in grateful, hard working and moral people from Africa. It is really pathetic when Tucson is 3% black and yet at my college, if you are black, there is a 90% chance you are African.

Look dude, Europeans had a CHOICE to escape persecution and other ills of their region, all well as other foreigners that have come to this country. Black slaves were not given the choice to come to the US or stay in the African continent. Therefore, it's wrong, it should never happen again, end of story. Why do white people complain about ANYTHING is the real question that needs answering. There is still racism and oppression against blacks in this country and American slavery is the root. So, when the playing field is equal between blacks and white, then you won't hear so much complaining. And the next time you want to ask a silly *** question like this, think about if your people were the ones enslaved in America. And then ask yourself, should white Americans be happy that they were enslaved? I bet the answer would be clear, jack ***.

You are so wrong on all of that. Who knows if Africans would still be in Africa if the Whites hadn't taken them as slaves??? I doubt it. Look at South Africa, it has Dutch influence, ie Western ideals that have lead to technology, etc. It's a war zone because of economics. They also have every right to ***** about slavery.....how would you like it if I yanked you out of your home, slapped manacles on you, beat you into submission, then forced you to do all my dirty work? You'd complain too.

How can a ***** honestly say there is still oppression in this country that is ridicules. Affirmative action all of the racist organizations they are allowed to have, with no persecution. And to answer your question yes they should be very thankful for slavery. For obvious reasons.

The reason why we complain about slavery is because it's a crutch...although it's a very old crutch that should have turned to dust already.
I do agree that it makes no sence to b**** about something that has happened 300+ years ago, but that hasn't stopped some of them from mouthing off about total nonsence.
Plus, black people never asked to come to America, however...they don't want to go back to Africa because of the poverty.
I personally don't do this but I have met many people who do, and quite frankly, it pisses me off to the point that I want to stangle these people and slap the black off of them.

Needless to say, you are a racist! I shouldn't dignify your rude remarks, but I just couldn't let them pass. I am sure that the people who were enslaved had no say in the matter. That makes it evil and just plain wrong. As far as Africa is concerned, it has largely been overrun by other ethnicities in the past which led to many of its problems. Besides, all of the continent is not suffering from starvation. Also, don't forget that Aparthied ruled for many years in Africa. I'm sure this has contributed to the poverty also.

If we had a time machine and announced we were going back to rectify slavery by bringing modern war ships to sink all slave ships on sight and blockade all harbors of slave country's,therefore changing history, all N iggers in America would be chimping out and screaming NO! NO! NO! because they know their black worthless asses would be sitting in a mud hut swatting flies off their smelly asses if slavery had never existed. So all you spades and phony PC liberals can stifle that horseshit about "the end not justifying the means" and shove it up your asses.

No but they should stop whining about it. Their own people sold them but they do not take this into consideration. I am a woman but I am not a feminazi. I know there are inequalities between women and men, but instead of compaining, I work hard so I will be recognized for what I do, not what I am. However, many blacks think that they should get opportunities just because they're black. I am glad Affirmative Action is illegal in CA becasue that's a bunch of BS. I know I got a little off topic but this always gets me going. And, no, I don't think you are a racist. And in reality, I believe blacks are more racist than whites.

well yeah, they should be grateful that because of slavery then, it is no longer existing in most places today. but it is still sad. because black people shouldnt be mistreated they are just as equal as white people. thats just sad that this world is so racist. white men use to think they were superior to blacks but no there not. were all equal. and yes they have a right to complain because you still here jewish people complaining about the hollicost , and it wasnt them going tthrough, only there ancestors. but still its family and a form of hatred and should have never happened. we should all get along like it was intended...
