Why is it that every old person I know says things like "Nuke 'em all!" or "Give those ragheads what they deserve"

My peers and I never talk that way. We don't wish death on innocent people no matter what color they are or where they are from. I ain't never heard someone my age talk like that, yet all the old people I know all chime in together.

Exactly what were the differences in our societies that made us so different?

Or does this trend only exist in my tiny Canadian village?

Old people are ignorant. They come from a different more ignorant era where people could degrade and keep nonwhites and women in their places. They always want to degrade younger people but they are violent and sneaky and cannot be trusted any further than you can throw them.
