What software is used to create such elegant documents

I know PDF is used to display it , but what software created it, I cant honestly see it being word is it? If so how do you make it look so good.

Focus on page 5 the ‘HEADER’ and the layout of the Table of Contents that’s what I like

A page such as page 5 can be created in word or Microsoft publisher.

It is fairly simple to create. You just need to get the image that you want and place it at the top of the page.

Type the contents etc that you want and then change the font style and the colours so that it is displayed how you want to.

To get a page number, you need to go to view and header and footer. And on the tool bar there is an option to insert page numbers.

Hope this helps, it is hard to explain without a demo of how to create such a page. It is mainly the image that has made the page so good.

Pretty much any program gives you the ability to do this. The more professional programs include Adobe Creative Suite and Quark Express. This particular page looks like it was done in Microsoft Word, because the table is very simple. The only thing that is probably not standard-word here is the font used. You can buy different fonts online.

MS Word can do that, but it will be as convenient as the other programs that are designed for desktop publishing. you can try Adobe PageMaker / Illustrator / InDesign. There's also Macromedia Freehand... and there are several others, but I think Adobe and Macromedia's are the best... but if you are a bit new with computers and doing layouts, MS Word may also be workable...
