I have before. The last time was on my way to the beach last summer. Stopped at one in NC, and it made me sooooo sick. Needless to say, I probably will never go again.

I did only once when I was on a cross country trip in 2004. I had a waffle! It was one good waffle!

Yes, they have great waffles. I love diners with lots of hot coffee and your eggs any style with hash browns any way you like them. Good food and cheap prices.

Yes it's good, but the one in Pontoon Beach IL. had roaches the last time I ate there. The one I ate at in Jacksonville FL. was really nice.

Yes, my husband and I ate at one about a month ago. It looked a bit run-down at first glance, but the food was great, and cheap! My husband loved that he could basically put whatever he wanted in the hashbrowns. And we sat at the bar area and got to watch them cook our food, that was kinda cool.

yes,
it is open in the middle of the night and serves hot food.
that makes it one of the few options along many highways.
where else can you do that many things to a plate of hash browns? :)
