He won't....he'll let his supporters and the media do it for him as he downplays the "upset".

No, the man is too intelligent and has way too much class to do that. He'd most likely blame it on not getting his message across, like a class act man that he is. I'd like to know what you consider his left wing extremist views? His views are more in line with mainstream America then are chicken-sh*t, yellow bellied coward, George W. Bushs'.

I doubt he will blame racism. He isn't the type to do that. I think he is truly for the greater good. I don't know if I would call him an extreme leftwing guy either. He definantely isn't Pat Robertson, but he also isn't Ralph Nader. In all honesty I think he is the most balanced candidate out there.

Not sure what he will say...but I know what our mainstream press will say....Judging by the answers so far and from what I`m seeing elsewhere, he has many Americans thinking he is quite an innocent individual.....much more than he surely is. After all, he is a politician...and a leftist at that. He needs to be watched, just like the rest of them.

I'm certainly no Obama fan. I'm a lifelong Republican who is slightly to the right of Benito Mussolini. With as many criticisms of the man as I have expressed over many, many answers, I have to give some credit were credit is due. He seems like a gentleman (albeit misguided, IMO) who will not succumb to that sleaziest of low paths.

That would depend on the state. You do have a point though. Low brow red staters won't vote for any Dem regardless of their race, or religion. They are too busy basking in the abstract poverty that trickle down economics have kept them in for decades. Hopefully, some red staters will begin to think for themselves and want to change the conditions of their states.

of course not. no serious political candidate will publicly/openly blame racism.....it makes them sound whiny and immature. of course, he may try to make people more cultured, but that is something different altogether.

I actually am going to go with the latter, as I think Obama is above playing the race card. My admiration of him ends there, as I disagree with his politics.

I take the second choice. Obviously he will blame it on racism, we only had white presidents. But hey, someone has to break the "tradition,"
