Why do you get judged for the way you are as a person? if you act like yourself everyday and still get judged for being yourself,
how fare is it that make yourself fit in to be the person you strive to be.

Hey~

Been there, and certainly felt that... People who tend to judge you because you are who you "choose" to be tend to feel intimidated and/or threatened.

They probably see a certain confidence and enjoyment in you and they yern for this, themselves. Many believe that this confidence and enjoyment in oneself is impossible and when they see it happening they are confronted with a truth.

It is in fact, possible to "choose" who you want to be and live everyday like yourself. However, do keep in mind that these people need to know that they are not that diffrent from you.

They do have the power to be themselves. Particularly, because you "choose" who you are pendig on two things your nature and your nurture. Tell them to evaluate themselves and not you.

They should take a weekend of from judging and determine what is truly important to them and what do they really enjoy. Heck, they should go head and do what ever they think is good and enjoyble. I'll guarantee: They will stop judging.

Success!

Here's a question for you...why do you care what people think of you? Being yourself is the best thing you can do, no matter how people judge you. It is not fair to you to strive to be something you are not. Be happy with you, and don't let "them" get you down.

I hear ya!
We hear this all the time in the LGBT area, where people try to demean us for being exactly as we were made by God - with no "choice" involved.

I sometimes think that such haters would mock people for other unchangeable traits such as eye color or left-handedness.

Haters are haters. Plain and simple.

I think it is retarded. Everyone says they want to act like themselves but when they meet someone who isn't considered normal or who isn't within the lines or something they don't like them. I don't give a **** what people think about me because I'm already despised.

Fair or not, it is just human nature to be judgmental for some people. It's sort of like that saying "...You can please some of the people some of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time. So, just be yourself.
