The music, written by Murray Gold, the series' composer, is named 'Doomsday', after the title of the episode it features in. It's available on the series soundtrack. I've put a link to its page on Amazon; you can listen to a sample of it there.

Part of the music at the end was a piece of music that ran through the whole series and was referred to in interviews and on a televised concert as "Roses Theme".

Watched that episode again tonight and yet again it made me cry. I grew up with Dr Who and its far better now than ever before.

The music in that episode is apparently from a guy called Murray Gold; It says that they are in talks over a soundtrack of his music from the show
