No not like the old ones. They are now widley seen as cruel. However if you watch "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" on SciFi Channel its a modern version of the old freak shows.

Yeah, they do.... Rocky horror shows on weekends at select theaters. This is only in some places in the world??? There is also an anually Freaks and Geeks show on Saturday at this place call The beat... Happy horrors.

Not really, I saw a show about them and they have all been done away with because of political correctness. It is a shame too because the "freaks" used to make a good living but now have been reduced to welfare.

Not at the fairs and carnivals as was the case in years gone by. Today's society is too politically correct. Nowadays, if you want to see nature's oddities you have to go to a battered women's shelter or homeless facility.

That's all a lot of these talk-show hosts do, is pull out the weirdest people they can find, and pretend to be all caring and sympathetic, when really they are just showing them off for the shock value.
