When discussing his relationship with his wife, Travis says, "I have this very strong sense of commitment and tranquility." Researchers have suggested that the neurophysiological basis of this feeling may be due to brain chemicals related to drugs. Are these feelings related to cannabinoids (cannabis), Cocaine-like neurochemicals, opioids (heroin), or Alcohols? Support with a source.

I don't know if I'm reading the question correctly, but I would have to say that the relationship between opioids and cannabinoids to "marital bliss" would depend on if the blissfull couple was indulging in these types of chemicals. If your question is more directed toward the biochemistry of human bonding, there are lots of scholarly sources you could check out. I've often heard that the blissful "cloud nine" feeling of romance is due to all sorts of chemicals (acting like drugs) that are released in the body when someone interacts with a person that they are very attracted to. If that's what you're interested in, check out books like "The Ontogeny of Human Bonding Systems" by Miller and Rodgers, and "Shyness & Love: Causes, Consequences, and Treatment" by Gillman. I don't have any research papers, and I wouldn't post them on here even if I did :)

I want to address the last first. "Support with a source?" When you speak of a Doctor (MD) you usually speak of his medical "practice". He is working with the best information he has at his given time in time. Our first president, George Washington caught a cold and died of "blood letting". They thought that the cause of his illness was too much bad blood. So, the "Practicing Doctors" of his day drained out more and more blood, until he died. You wouldn't have done this, would you? Of course not! You know, today, what the professionals did not know 200 years ago.
"Marital Bliss" could be termed, "Happily Married". This doesn't mean you walk around with a dopey smile and float two feet off the ground. It means that you and your spouse have found that problems are better beaten working together than to allow the problems to become a wedge that drives you apart. Marital Bliss is being with your wife and your girlfriend and knowing that she is one and the same person.
Do you want an expert on "Marital Bliss"? Ask someone who is happily married, not a doctor.

Well I'm really glad Travis feels that way.
I believe there are people who are actually ON those drugs and feel NO marital bliss!
Marital bliss comes from within and having harmony.
