I don't like when people give nasty answers. You can be honest without being nasty. I always try to talk to people right, it really doesn't matter if its face to face or on the net. My mom always told me that you can say anything thing to a person but you have to know how to say it right! Its all about having respect for one another, it doesn't matter that you can't see the person or that you will never meet the person. When people are nasty, that just goes to show what kind of people they are, but this is the Internet, you have to take the good with the bad.

You've got to remember that when you type out an answer people have no idea whether you are trying to be funny or offensive, it is not the same as talking back to someone in person. It is far more easy to be flippantly offensive when you are barking out an answer you think is entertaining but turns out to be callous, stupid or downright outrageous to someone else, especially if they were expecting something sensible. I suspect most people on here who get violations are trying to be funny rather than genuinely offend people.

well, I think I am more against sending our children to IRAQ to be shot dead than I am against brutal answers, sometimes brutal answers are a wakeup call and some of my most brutal truths have been chosen as best answer. so I won't sugarcoat it because of your sensitivities. a bullet in the head is far worse than an opinion in the head. don't read my opinion if you are offended. I tell it as I see it. don't try to turn this into your very own politically correct answers show.

There are a lot of people who are, um, young...not necessarily chronologically. It takes experience and a little wisdom to know when it really is NOT necessary to say what you think, all the time. That and losing a job or two for it, can wake them up, lol. There are nice ways of telling someone they are wrong, totally not necessary to say something ugly.
You are right, no need to hurt anyone, some people think it's funny, and that tells me they aren't grown up yet.

Yeah, some people just have a bad sense of humor but then again if you are going to censor them why not some of the questions posted too. I do feel that adults should have a spot of their own away from kids, and teens they should have their own yahoo site or spot.

there is likewise those that make "nasty" questions and as you will possibly desire to comprehend, Y!A is a international/extra often than not unrestricted communicate board. all people can connect (till you reside in a sort of Korean international places) and that is quite straightforward to bypass their rules.

Absolutely. I'm actually amused that people think it's okay to be extremely horrible as long as it's under the guise of humor. Of course, anonymity is the reason.

I don't think its good to be mean, but some of the questions require you to be firm and/or harsh with the answer. I don't think people would respect the answers from this forum if all we did was play nice.

Some questions are so inane that they are not worth answering. However, some questions are so offensive that if you reply to them you will get a violation order. It's time that idiotic an offensive questions were weeded out.
