A diplomatic solution, we will never settle the Iraqi civil war with guns and tanks. If we try we will be there for over a hundred years. The Iraqi people are the ones that will have to solve this and they will never accept a solution by outside influences. .

We have lost the war , the next option is to start bringing our troops home. They said they don't want us there, so why stay and lose your life when you aren't wanted. Bush knows that we will never win , we can't but he isn't there getting his leg and arms blown off are killed so he says, "We Shall Prevail
We're Winning The War, Bring em On". He needs to take his a** and start fighting over there, his tune will change. We'll be out of there so fast you'll think the troops are all Superman

Um, it's 'course' not 'coarse'. The latter is an adjective to describe texture, such as in grades of sandpaper.
What was the troop surge about, if it wasn't trying something new? It's believed to be working, even if Katie Couric buried the interview she had.

Staying the course with a few more troops seems to be the new direction.
Too bad Bush and the neo-cons were against staying the course in Afghanistan, the country that harbored the murderous group of 9/11.

IT has worked, we have a laundry list of accomplishments
*got afghanistan back for there attack on 9-11. secured the area, held it.
*got al zarquawi as well as MANY other prominent leaders in islamic extremism
*took sadam out of power, hung him, restored democracy to the people
*instilled the first election (democratic) these people have had.
*We have trained over 300,000 Iraqi troops so that someday soon they will be able to take over.
And now that we have the troop surge the bombing and casualties are down, WHY THE HELL would you not think staying the course hasnt accomplished anything?

we must to have a troop surge accompanied with a new strategy to win the war, withdrawal is not and option and you can't have diplomacy because you cannot reason with somebody who is trying to kill you. Yes, extremist do want to kill you.

either pull out and accept defeat , or add 300,000 troops to finsh what we started . It would take about 3 days to finish this war

It's actually been 4 years, and 'stay the course' died before last year's election. The new avenue is "troop surge while the democrats work on a retreat plan".

What's the definition of crazy? trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different response? yeah.. it's time to try something new... anything new.. we can't do much worse than we have (that's not advocating withdrawal, just a change in ANY direction..)
