I realise that my Ego is my False Self, but after years of "struggling" at taming the Ego within myself, and becoming an AUTHENTIC human being, I'm still having problems. I have learned much over the years, but obviously I'm not there yet. Any help, book title's, information, or methods would be GREATLY appreciated.

First of all "ego" is just an abstract way of describing certain aspects of human thought. It's more semantics than science.

Secondly, what is it you hope to gain by "taming your ego"?

Is there something about your perspective on things that you feel is not working for you?

How do you believe you will be different after you have "tamed your ego"? How will you think differently? How will you behave differently?

Don't worry about changing a thing. I never apologize for anything, I'm sorry that's just the way I am.
