A wise woman once told me to tie a knot and make a swing...and sometimes, that's exactly what I do. Other times, I stop and look around...and realize that the end of the rope has brought me within reach of where I needed to be all along.
Ropes are funny that way -- when you focus solely on them, they become nooses. When you put them in context of the rest of your life...they become possibilities.

you take a deep breath.Usually your last.The rope is a noose.
The end of the rope (tether) is usually a very good time to take a deep breath and calmly look for a solution to the problem.
