I am getting braver and want to feel more connected but I am afraid of Stalkers and Haters. What do you think about the Messenger?

the best part about IM messaging is also the worst part; you never know for certain who you are talking with...old people pretend to be young people, men pretend to be girls...teenagers and younger pretend to be young adults...however, it also allows YOU to be who or whatever you want at any given moment! assuming that everybody lies, just go and have fun! it is the new sandbox, so play

I never had a bad experience with IM Messenger. You can always block people that you don't want to contract you.

It is a really good way to connect with friends. I am a big fan of it. Only give your IM address to people you know because there are always sick little monkeys around. So enjoy, but be cautious.

No one can stalk you unless you let them. As for haters.. it's called your "block" list.

i only have my friends in my IM groups and b/c you have to accept anyone into your IM whenever someone wants to join. â¥
