Of course i agree and any pet lover should agree too,They should let us know ASAP, or check the bags!!! I mean how does RAT POISONING get into dog and cat food?? They should definitely check it before give Innocent animals food, especially since it is a large company! I highly disagree with testing on animals, but they must be able to find another way to check the food for anything that could be wrong! Just think- we put our pets life's in their hands, and when something like this happens.......... well, its just bad all around! I mean there are millions of things that can go wrong in dog food making, bad meat, moldy containers, bad plastic containers/pouches.... and people like to think that you buy the food, it will be fine, but when this happens it may shine the light on some people and bring them back down to earth...There isn't much we can do though, its not like have a 'dog food o'matic" in our own backyards, and no one is ever safe or is going to be safe from bad food. It happens but we have to trust the retail to come back to earth too, and spend more time on making the food and checking the food. But people who's pets have died probably will not agree (i don't blame them either!) with giving them another chance.....
But just think, we can put them on a diet of meat from stores, and other ingredients, but who knows if that is safe?? We cant starve our pets, so we are going to have to find a way around this problem one way or another.......

My guess is it took them that long to link the pet's death to food and then examine the food to find out it contained poison. It does seem like it too a long time to find out though. It's been on my mind today too. I think I'm gonna call my parents to make sure they aren't feeding their puppies any of the recalled food. I'm sure they are already aware of the issue now though.

Well, first of all scientists that are testing the dog food for any posioning chemicals in the food might of been still trying to look at any other things that the chemical may have been from.

business and profit.
drugs that were known to cause heart attacks and other problems such as celebrex and phenphen, were sold as long as possible until enough people died, complained and sued, just like when cars have been recalled in the past, the company selling the defective cars know this, but they make as much profit as possible at the expense of human life until they are forced to recall.
pets are no different and are apparently just as special as humans when it comes to making a profit.

Ot's worrisome that pets and human beings (through poisoned spinach) are being poisoned in America these days. Who are these corporations hiring these days to allow the sabotaging our produces and products?

I knew from the beginning that it would turn out to be something like this. It is so sad that we are living in a world where some people just want to cause pain and death.
