Ok, I said I don't care if someone is homosexual, just leave them alone so we don't start something. We have more important things to worry about. Two people told me kindly that they disagreed, that homosexuality is wrong. I'm fine with that. But then some jerk came on and called me a 'f***t' and a 'b*tch'. And to top it off...he called me 'the bad *n* word'. Oh, come on! Why is it some people are so rude about things?

I'm sorry you experienced that. Unfortunately it happens to all of us here who try and support LGBT. Forget about the creeps. A lot of HUMANS suck. Focus on the good people.

On behalf of all breeders everywhere I say since we do not have the benefit of crucification nor the gladiatorial arena anymore, picking on homos verbally is the only fun we straight dudes are allowed anymore. If you do not want to be harassed then stop trying to recruit straight guys into the fold like the Seventh Day Adventists.

I'm not rude, I'm just intolerant of having homosexuality forced down my throat (no pun intended) as something that it is not- a racial trait. It is a social behavior, an abnormality of psychology that should be closed back inside the closet once more.

And I would never call you those names here- I would call you direct, and then same them.

Ciao

because people are uneasy with things that they don't understand or are different from them.

we believe whatever we are is the right way and what ever the other person is wrong in some way.

this leads to sexism, homophobia, racism, fights over religion and the countless other things that people but themselves and others into boxes.

sadly we do these things with out noticing it, for example that guy was in the wrong for calling you an F and B but you where just in the wrong for throwing out a racist term.

by doing this you did the same thing that
the guy did. You insulted him because he was different from you.

Because people feel more superior when they degrade other people. They enjoy bullying each other around, what is even more funny is it is probalby some little twirp that doesn't have the gull otherwise to speak up to anyone else and can only hide behind there computer. I see nothing wrong with diversity. I am straight, but I find that gays & lesbians are much more fun to be out with. They have better personalities then anyone else, they are not judgemental and they don't lie to you. They tell you straight up how it goes!

It is easier to be rude than to reason.

People can act however they like hiding behind the anonymity of the Internet. It is a form of cowardice. They feel safe, hurting others and behaving as they would never dare to do in real life. So, just ignore them, they are losers. Someone once sent me an email threatening to cut my head off with a hacksaw. I ignored him because he was just showing how pathetic he was.

I agree with you.

Can you believe there are some people that have such hatreds that they seek any excuse to pick a fight, including invading the LGBT section and bashing everyone in sight? And then they get all upset and whine about "truth" when people defend themselves.

Oh well, at least we can recognize a hypocrite from a mile off.

Ignore ignorant bigots and other wastes of your time and energy. They are also a waste of breath, and of God's gifts.

well, i'm against it, but i have a friend who might be. i'm still friends with her, she was always my friend, so why should i stop talking to her cuz of that? that would be kinda stupid...yeah, so i don't think it's right, but i won't judge them cuz of that, i'll judge them based on their personality and how they treat me. by the way, she's an AMAZING person. she treats me better than my old friends did. there are rude people everywhere and i wish there weren't, but what can you do? i just ignore them. besides, they're probably more stressed than you cuz they waste so much time insulting people and being angry. what a waste of a life, don't you think? goldenbrownrod, i think you misread what she wrote. she didn't call him anything.

Because they can't engage a debate or offer their opinion intelligently. Some people don't want to hear the other persons point of view and if the other person's point of view makes one question theirs, they react negatively.

They are too ignorant and blinded by their beliefs to have a normal conversation, nor do they have the level of intelligence necessary to formulate a coherent sentence without obscenities.

I'd say it all boils down to insecurity. The people who hurl insults when people don't agree with them probably are in general insecure and can't handle having someone who doesn't see things their way.
