yes, but ive been more determined to do so. i automatically toss junk mail now, used to i'd put it aside to "look at later" and of course later never came... If the sock has a hole - in the trash it goes, not back in the drawer to be discovered again next week! im trying so hard to de-clutter that my husband is kind of griping now. Its hard, but I am making a consious effort. Wish me luck!

Yes I have in the past.
There are certain people for whom this becomes a HUGE problem. For people who have this problem to the extreme and it takes over their life, they should consult a counselor to see if they are suffering from Obsessive-Compulsive Hoarding.
For mild hoarding, you should ask yourself why it is you cannot let go of it. Do you have an emotional attachment to the item? Was the item expensive? Do you think that you will use the item in the future?
Sometimes it is helpful to put those items that you have a hard time giving up into a box and put a date on which you will make a decision on the items in the box, say maybe a month or a year from when you put them in the box.
Another helpful thing to do, is to have a trusted friend come over and help you decide what to do with those items you think you may need to get rid of, donate, sell, etc.

I feel your discomfort. Your on the whole going to get the ingrown hairs when you shave down there, many females do. That's why I started waxing alternatively, sure, it can be painful, however there is a lot much less bumps/ingrown hairs, and it lasts approach longer. And sure, generally there is a hair you need to pull out with tweezers or some thing, whether or not you see it or not . It is usually very likely that you just just have very touchy dermis. And with this rough bump that you'll have, I had whatever find it irresistible once, and happily my mother was once someway equipped to get rid of it, nevertheless it might be a pimple, very unhealthy ingrown hair, a scar or anything that a health care provider would need to diagnose. Go get it checked out, whether or not your embarassed or not.

I'm a pack rat. I have socks I got when I was 13 and they're still in the drawer; and I don't ever wear them (I'm a hell of a lot older than 13 now). I got rid of shoes a couple of weeks ago I've been wearing for upwards of 15 years and I feel like I made a mistake. This is a sickness.

Yes, but for every 45 old ragged things I get rid of I reward myself with a new something. I also try to give away things as much as possible vs just throwing it out. It helps me to part with something if I know it will be needed and used by someone who really needs it.

yes. It is called being a hoarder and I struggle with that too.
I had a good friend come help me decide what to keep or get rid of. Could not have done it myself without outside help. The opposite of hoarding is giving, and once you start giving, you feel so much better that someone will actually use your junk, that you are more easily able to part with it. good luck

Yes, I do admit it seems hard to get rid of some stuff. That is why I would like Peter Walsh to visit me from Australia. His book called "It's All Too Much" looks to be helping me.

I used to be like that. The house was getting too crowded, so I got rid of a lot of stuff.

YES. I have a hard time throwing away old clothes, among MANY other things. I sometimes even keep the tags from my clothing (I figure that someday my kids will enjoy seeing the difference between the way tags used to look and the way they look "now").
