What are some of your favorite songs and artists that are out? What kind of music are you into?

as a 52 y.o. DJ i'm open to just about anything. i am deep into classic rock, but i am open-minded enough to appeciate some of today's pop, rap, and hard rock bands as well as mainstream rock, country, etc..
some of my current faves include, nickelback, godsmack, the pussycat dolls, akon, kid rock, blink 182, saliva,tool, greenday, and on and on and on!

I am (and always have been) a big fan of Southern Rock. Its good music. Takes me to a better place and time. I was listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Marshall Tucker Band when my little friends were listening to Milli Vanilli, Debbie Gibson and Michael Jackson. I thought that they were all crazy and they thought that I was a little past weird. I guess tha my music came out ahead in the end, though. At least Lynyrd Skynyrd hasn't been caught lip sincing, poseing for playboy for free and getting made fun of for doing it, OR molesting small boys, ha!!!

I like all sorts, though I tend to like it loud. Harks back to the late 70's when I was at university and discovered punk I guess.
Next month I'm taking my daughter to a concert. HIM are headlining, with (amongst others) Juliette and the Licks, Mindless Self Indulgence, The Used, Alexisonfire and Kill Hannah. Really looking forward to it!
I've also 'discovered' industrial, beat breaks and mashing recently. Though I've no objection to a bit of Oasis, Gwen Stefani or Metallica.

I love almost all music... and during daytime/work hours I keep the radio on a "variety" station... but when I'm on my own time I love Rock/Metal.... Favorites include; Tool, Metallica, Godsmack, System of a Down, Zombie, Nickleback, Stained, AC/DC, and so many more... I can't choose just one song...

Im into whatever music is good.......My Chemical Romance is my favorite band, and some of my fav songs right now are Smile by Lilly Allen, Cupid's Chokehold by Gym Class Hero's, and just about everything by MCR!

I LOVE The Summer Obsession. I like all their songs. Especially Never Coming Back, 8AM, Do You Remember, Disappear, I Miss You, and Over My Head. I like rock and alternative/punk.
