It's 100% possible, and I should know! My husband's eyes are a beautiful brown color and mine are mostly blue. Our daughter has bright blue eyes (she's 14 months old, the color is set).
I agree with the second poster when she says that the first poster is full of it. My older children were all born with brown eyes and brown/black hair. Remember, there are very few "always" and "never"s when it comes to pregnancy and childbirth!

there are many children in the world that don't have the mother or father's eye color. genes can be pasted from generations and generations ago. just cuz the baby has blue eyes doesn't mean she is lying about the father.
my dad has green eyes, my uncle brown , my aunt blue (they are a full bros and sis) my grandparents have brown eyes.
boyfriend has blue eyes, his mom grey his dad brown.

well...my brother has a daughter (my niece) when she was born her eyes were crystal BLUE! her mother has brown eyes, so does my brother, one grandmother has brown eyes the other has green eyes, and a great grandfather had blue eyes.. and the girl IS my brothers. She got lucky, out of the four children my brother has the first which is identical to my brother has now green eyes. So, i wouldnt be so doubtful.

It is entirely possible the baby's eyes will change color. My daughter was born with VERY blue eyes and now has Hazel/Greenish eyes. Most baby's take until 6mo sometimes older for their true eye color to show.
Oh and the previous poster is full of crap, not all babies are born with BLONDE hair!!

Yes it is possible.
As others have said, babies eyes change color.
Second, check out the link below to explain genetics of brown eyed parents, blue eye kids.

babies dont get there permanent eye color till close to a yr old, most white babies are born with blue eyes. aslo if anyone else in either side of the family has blue eyes then its a trait in them and the baby could get it. why are u so worried about her childs paternity anways.

Blue is a recessive gene. That means that both parents may carry a blue allele, but not show it because brown is dominant. However, they can still pass these genes on to their children, who will show it. It's completely normal.

All babies are born with blue eyes and blonde hair. At about 1 year old they're eyes and hair will start to change color.
I have a nephew that is 1 year old and he was born with blonde hair and blue eyes. His father has dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Its nothing to worry about. Its normal.
