Kelly is right-the utilities will be way over their ability to pay and they will not be able to keep the mansions unless the guy who gave it to them pays for all that and that is a stretch.

There is also maintenance of the grounds,etc.,etc. that they could not possibly afford. Will they know how to maintain such extravagance they are not used to nor educated about?

As nice a well meant gesture as it was, he would have done better to spread the money around as was suggested by selling the mansions. How often we act out benevelence without engaging our heads as to the ramifications that it can lead to.

Yes! Since he can not sell them due to the declining real estate market he is hoping they start a fire in the house because they can't afford to pay the utilities necessary to heat the place. Then he can get the insurance money for the homes.

Seems like a stupid move to me, those people with a flock of kids more than likely haven't the brains or ambition to better themselves no matter what...if he really wants to help, fix them so they can't have kids anymore, but don't let them live in those homes, ( sorry for the neigbors ) give them support and time to learn something so they can make a living..if they can't stick with it..forget it...

makes more sense to sell the mansions and buy more families smaller, more realistic homes.I read that they still have to pay the utility bills, that would be alot of $ on a mansion
