When you consider the extent the U.S. went to in order combat socialism in the last century, your question is somewhat ill-conceived. Capitalism & 'Comparative advantage' both rely on the expansion of markets, not isolation. Our 'economic superiority' is built on the 3rd. world.

No, they are much better treating their own than we are.
Democrats believe in the free market, not with the fact that 9,677 people in the US have almost ALL the money!
We aren't economically superior. You forget you are talking about multi-national corporations now, not American ones!
And you are right, we have never been a democracy. We are a Representative Republic! There are no true democracy's in the world that I know of. If we were a democracy, Bush would have never been president. In the 2004 elections he lost the popular vote to Gore!

an excellent thought yet I say no. Karl Rove had mapped out "a long-lasting Republican majority" and watched it is useful indoors the unlawful redistricting of Texas. there replaced into no clarification for the social accumulating to think of of that McCain could lose. He led indoors the summertime polls for fairly a together as, undergo in strategies?. He enjoyed a much extra appropriate bounce on an analogous time as the unknown Palin replaced into presented, no longer understanding she could undo the marketing campaign. Had he picked Tim Pawlenty, we would have seen a closer race yet i think of of Obama would have won. My Republican uncle remember of factly stated until at last now the election "each and each man or woman is ill persons ideal now, truthfully like they have been of the Democrats indoors the previous, so we are waiting to spend time regrouping." In 2012, there will be a sacrficial lamb. we've yet to top prevalent whom.

Socialism reduces the quality of life of any society that follows it. This in turn causes political instability. So for the USA to promote this is detrimental to its own security.

No because in the free market voluntary transactions are mutually beneficial. WE are better off because China has liberalized its economy.
