it's something us boys learn very early in life, if someone double dog dares you you will lose all face if you refuse...a macho thing I reckon

I think it means like a really super-duper dare....more powerful than a regular dare......and why don't we ever hear just a dog dare? Where did the double come from anyway?? lol

Have you ever seen the part of "A Christmas Story" where the little boy licks the frozen flag pole and gets his tongue stuck. I believe he was triple dog dared.

It just means that there is double the pressure for you to perform a stunt.

It is like, when instead of just a dare, where u can get out of, it is a Double Dog Dare. This means that you can't get out of whatever the person who said wants u to do.

NO LOOPHOLES

I've taken a QUADRUPLE dog DARE...... It used to be highly intense... I nonetheless sweat and shake when eager about it.... Man.... Horrifying.... It was.... Run round my block in boxer and a tank high without a sneakers and no socks.... Even as snow was on the ground!!!! I reside IN A city. Traumatizing
