By coincidence, I have just found out that my next door neighbour and friend of 5 years, grassed me to the DSS 3 years ago. I was called into the office and questioned for something which was later proved untrue, and had my working families tax credit stopped. This caused a complete nightmare for me, my husband and children.....I was questioning everybody and not knowing who to blame or suspect etc.......
Now, 3 years later, I find out all along it was the stinky old woman next door, who lives alone in a small bungalow with 14 dogs. I still have no idea why she didi it, as I get on quite well with her, and even do her shopping.....
I want revenge.....I am really hurt, upset and very very angry....I know I shouldn't stoop to her level, but.........I'm going to.....what's the best way

You need to drop it unless god his self told you she did it. No mothers, brothers, cousin's information, because unless things have changed, DSS can tell you who turned you in. The next thing to do is consider whether she miss interpreted something to account for turning you in, like heard the kids scream, but they were actually playing. If you have a still sure.
Then go to her and tell her why you won't be there for her anymore. But make sure that's where your heart wants you to go.
Case and point, in my job I deal with others drama, so I make sure I don't have any at my home and in my life.Some would call that boring I call peace. Last night my 17 yo. son told my 16 yo. son that I told a friend of mine's wife the my oldest son knocked out the teeth of my ex wife. Did I mention I've only talked said friend 1 time in the last 3 yrs.? and that was over the phone at work and no his wife wasn't there.
So how did I get drug into the middle of the drama? I don't know either, now the ex is p!ssed, My 17 yo. is p!SSED and I never said a word. What would you do? Ya know what I did? The same thing I told all my kids
When you see bullsh!t coming take 1 step back and let it go right on by. I'm not going to call my friend nor his wife, nor will I justify anything to my ex.

Do you really want to do something to those dogs?? Do you really want to cause upset to a person who seemingly has no one else in her life...?
You could try befriending her properly and gain an insight into her life that might tell you the why... as to what to do - kindness (don't laugh) is usually the best weapon - show her how good a person you are - she will eventually feel and act guilty but by that time you might come to an understanding of why she is/was like that.
You are obviously better than that don't drop to her level - it will be your undoing...

To be honest, I think revenge almost inevitably becomes a very unhealthy downward spiral. You need to somehow come to terms with this, tell yourself that you are better off than she is, and put it down to experience. It's difficult, but it's the healthiest thing for you.
Whilst saying this, I do think Environmental Health might welcome someone letting them know that 14 dogs are living in a small house with one old lady - can't be hygienic, you would be doing the old lady a favour. :-)

Exlax, you don't want to punish the dogs for something your neighbor did. Make her pay for it by having dogs pooping all over her yard and house. Put some in some food and let it work. She'll have real fun cleaning all of that up from 14 dogs.

stop doing her shopping for her when she asks you to do her shopping tell her that you know that she lied about you and that you will not be her friend any more i know it is not the kind of revenge that you would like to take, but if you do something to her you would only be bringing yourself down to her level and you are better then that.

With some government agency's, someone can be in very big trouble ( like a felony) in making false claims against someone or pulling a prank. You may want to speak to someone in finding out your rights......
Then take it from there..

are you sure it was your neighbour, this most of been a really horrible time for you, but i would not grass her up she might be beating her self up if she did do this and that's punishment. will revenge really work i don`t think you would be any happier if you did. if she did i bet she is sorry now.

Complain to environmental health department saying her dogs are shitting all over the place , they will come out and investigate, if that fails the RSPCA.
