I see you drank the koolaid too. His Kenyan born father was raised as a muslim but became an aethist as an adult.
He had divorced Obama's mother when Barack was 2 years old. He did not have a hand in raising his son, that was left up to his mom, for a time a stepfather and his maternal grandparents
You have heard what the right wing spin machine wants you to believe about the school.
His stepfather was from Indonesia which is predominanty Muslim and his family moved there when he was 6 years old. He attended a school that catered to children of Muslims, Catholics and Buddhists.
He went to that school for 2 years, then he was enrolled in a predominantly Catholic school for another 2 years. He moved back to Hawai'i when he was 10 to live with his maternal grandparents.
Madrasa essentially means school. It has taken on an evil connotation in light of the radical muslim teachings that are now taking place in some of them
The whole madrasa thing was a load of tripe dreamt up by Insight Magazine, an arm of the right wing leaning Washington Times newsrag. Fox News perpetuated the lie and even said it came from the Clinton camp.
CNN sent a reporter to the school to try to validate the story and realized that it was a complete falsehood and that there was no link to the Hillary Clinton campaign Once that was brought to light, Fox News etc backtracked and then tried to say it was just opinions that said it was Hillary's fault

First of all yes - Obama's father was an African muslim. Obama has not had any contact with his father since he was a small child so this would seem irrelevant.
Obama's stepfather was an Indonesian muslim and Obama did attend a madras (school) in Indonesia. It was not a radical school.
Obama is now a church going Christian.

Madras is arabic for 'school' It wasn't a religioous school, it was actually very secualr and he only went there for a few years.
Just because someone went to Catholic school doesn't make them a Catholic, let alone a religious fanatic. It is completely possible, even in Indonesia to get a good secular education from a parochial school.

Its actually a madrasa. I agree "black muslim" suggests a tone of racism. Come on, isn't there enough stupidity on here?

Yes! Even though he died years before, Obama's father was one of the masterminds of the 9/11 attacks. ;-)
