Shoes: either white converse alstar low-tops or plain black pumps.
Socks: Bobbie socks
Hair: either in a pony tail tied with a pink scarf or down held back with the same scarf
Jewelry: A big mens class ring held by a chain around the neck. maybe also a broach pinned to the top a cat would fit the era.
tops: either a white t shirt with a button down shirt over it, or the shirt buttoned but hanging out. A tight (clingy) plain cashmere sweater would do OK too (especially with the pumps)
Bottoms: Tight Levis pegged at the ankle or a knee length tight skirt.
Makeup: You want the lips red the cheeks pink, I'm not sure on the rest, but a little slutty would be good for the greaser look.
Have fun!!!

I grew up in the grease era. It was a fun time. You really should go to the costume site to see what they have on there. but, I can tell you what we wore. Girls, shoes, saddle shoes, black and white, hair in a ponytail some time with a scarf tied on it. no jewelry, boys , wore loafers, and they wore blue jeans, straight leg, sleeveless t shirts. most of the boys cut the sleeve off them selves. NO make up. But, then there was a little lipstick. Girls wore the circle skirts, usually with sweaters. and a scarf on the neck. (Which took place of necklaces.). Hope this answers you.

Be careful Using the word Greaser it's a word that ranks with the N word or Dago It's a racial epithet for a Mexican. The girls that you were talking about were called Bobby sockers after the type of socks they wore.

For your answer get your hands on a costume book in libray
and watch TV Shows like Father Knows Best and your will see what bobby sockers wore in the fifties and early sixties

Saddle shoes, high pony tails, fitted blouses, capri pants or poodle skirts (those are really sort of more 50s though), pink cheeks.

Another good source are the movies - American Graffiti and Grease with Travolta and Newton-John are good starts.

Hope you find what you're looking for!
