Well I have never heard of a 6 foot koi however, 20 feeder gold fish, and guaranteed they are not all commets. There will be a mix. They can grow up to 10 inches each, but that also depends on each ones lineage. Some can get larger while others remain small.

Tails are not counted as Inches when in a tank so even a short tailed commet reaching 10 inches still is only about 6 inches of fish.

Your main concern will be the dissolved oxygen. Are you running a power head? I would suggest either keeping your tank water level 1/2 inch lower or adding a power head. This will replace the quickly used up oxygen back into the tank.

Sounds like you are keeping a good aquarium. Good luck.

Goldfish are goldfish. Feeders just means they are usually sold as feeders for oscars and other big fish. Like any goldfish, they can grow to over a foot long and are extremely messy. A 65 gallon tank is suitabe for about 4 to 5 goldfish and that is all. for the quantity you have, you realy need at least 200 gallons (30 gallon for the fish goldfish, and additional 10 gallons for each additional fish).

Feeder Goldfish are usually Comets. The ones I have seen are about 7 inches each (they could get much larger) Koi are another variety of Goldfish and can get over 6 feet.
