Please dont act like I'm an idiot or anything; We recently adopted a ferret and in the course of trying out treats that he likes, we've found that Honey Nut Cheerios tickles his tastebuds (my ferret handbook says cereal is ok for them). However, I was wondering if it would also be alright for me to give my 9 month old kitten one or two pieces of the cereal when I give a piece to the ferret.
Does anyone know if this would make the kitten sick? Again, I would only give one or two single pieces at a time, and obviously not that often since they are considered "treats."
Thank you for any input you can give me!

i would try plain cheerios, but i would assume that if your ferret can handle honey nut, then your kitten most likely can too. the reason i suggest plain, is bcuz my gerbils can't have honey nut, but they can have the plain ones and they love them so much!
however if you have any doubts at all, you might wat to give your vet a ring-a-ding-ding and ask if they are ok for your kitten.
i just stick to ferret treats for my ferret, but i'll have to try honey-nut cheerios sometime, she might enjoy those, thanks!
