This is getting out of hand. As soon as our heads hit the pillow, they start up. They rattle the mini-blinds; we open them a tad just so they won't ruin them. They gallop loudly, chasing each other, and run across us in our beds; we throw them out and shut the door, only to have them start digging at the door and rattling their way back in. The poly-cat works the dresser drawers until he gets them open, and pulls the clothes out. The gray one gets on our bed and "happy paws'" us. They want food, they pull open cabinets and drawers in the kitchen. Throwing them out is not an option. Neither is killing them, thank you. We have been trying to disturb them in their sleep, with great pleasure, during the day. Still they wreck our slumber.

Very easy;

Sominex at night, coffee beans in their morning food.

Problem solved!

Turtle girl has a good suggestion with the double-sides sticky tape. I guess I'm fairly lucky. My two cats both sleep at night (and all day too). The only problem I have occasionally is that one of them expects to sleep with my daughter and if her door is closed then she scratches at the carpet outside her door. I usually wake up and go let her into my daughter's room. They are both 6 years old now so if your cats are younger maybe they will grow out of it.

You could try taking a water gun to bed with you and then start shooting when they start acting up.

I used to play with my cats with a fishing pole toy,or peacock feather until they were panting with exhaustion about an hour before bed. Then, fed them...it helped.

You could put double side tape on anything you don;t want them messing with at night...it won't take but a few nights of sticky paws and they'll be done with drawers.

I haven't the slightest idea but they sound wonderful. If you wanted to sleep at night I guess you should of gotten dogs. I feel for you but really is it all that bad? Try putting them in the furthest room from yours and see if that does the trick. Put some real fun things in there w/them.
