i need a straight answer can you make any money doing anything with a ponie? my family got 2 ponies for free and their nothing but trouble! i wanted to know if theres anyway to make money with them? or are we just lossing money?

You talk about them like a piece of hardware that should make you money. People usually have horses and/or Ponies because they love the animal and WANT to take care of them for the sheer enjoyment of doing so. Sell them to a willing and loving home. Do background checks on the perspective owners first so you know you are not selling them to a meat produer. I'm sure someone out there would love to have a pony.
Would you have asked this same question if you got a free dog or cat?

Clearly you do not have the knowledge to deal with them correctly. You do not say if they are broke to ride, are they gentle, are they broke to harness?
There are pony parties, but not a good idea if you don't know what you have and or if they are safe. There are liability issues and insurance needed with any type of equine business. Sounds like you had better find them a home with people who can handle them.

not unless u know what your doing, you could use them to teach on if there broken in to ride, but thats little money to be made pluss your gunna have to worry about 3rd party insurance etc.
You could put them on loan and charge who ever is loaning them per month. That might be worth looking into.
But honestly by the sound of ur question if I was u, Id sell them in the local paper and make a bit of quick cash for urself and be done with it! They definalty can be more trouble than there worth if your not attacted to them and I dont mean in a naughty way, I mean in a vet, farrier, wormers, dentist, feed... money way!! (I shud know, I have 6!)

YES ponies are nothing but trouble if you have them with other animals they will kick the s*** out of them and their mean but their not to bad if their old

Well if you have ath proprety to put them on and the $ there great like having a well pony. Its just like having the horse but smaller.and that can be safer too.

I have a mini that I do paties for.But as far as money no.Its not cheap the upkeep on horses & ponies.Worming every 3 mo.shoeing or trims every 2 mo.& oh yes the food.Think twice theres no money in it.

ponies can be fun pets, but if you don't like them why don't you find a loving home for them advertise them in the paper , or something.

obviously you think that they are more trouble than they are worth already. if that is the case i would rehome them if i were you.
