if a drainage pipe is 8 feet in lenght and 24 inches in diameter what is it in cu. ft.? i have tried to figure it out myself but i just can't seam to get the right answer. is there anyway you can help me out with this math problem?

the respond is 50.24 cu. ft. The formula for the component of a circle is Pi x D, which for that reason is 3.1416 X 2. Multiply that via 8 to get the quantity. i anticipate your diameter value is the interior diameter. wish this facilitates.

24"=2'd R=1'
3.14(1x1)8
3.14 x 1 x 8 =25.12cf

He asked for the answer in cubic feet not inches

Every 33 inches of pipe 24" around is 55 gallons.
Yours would hold 160 gallons. 160 gallons is roughly 24.89 cubic feet. I think my math is right.
