I didn't LET this happen to our country. I went out and voted for every conservative on the ticket. I place the blamed for this crap squarely on the shoulders of Republicans who stayed home on election day and didn't vote. Now, because of your laziness, our trrops are in danger of not getting everything they need and deserve.
DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN IN '08. GET OFF YOUR @$$ES AND VOTE DAMMIT!!!!!!

Let's see now, Ms. Pelosi comes from a very rich family, so does Mr. Schumer, not sure about Murtha, but they basically use Him for getting attention. Kerry, Kennedy, Edwards, and lord knows how many more Liberal Politicians put down the Bush structure. Talk about ' People in Glass House's throwing the 1st stone ". Still think someone is absorbing just a little to much of that " Kool-Aid ". God Bless America !!

I didn't . I wouldn't . I couldn't . They don't speak for most Americans . I just wish Republicans in office would not be so darn nice , letting Democrats pull dirty tricks out of their hats when-ever they have nothing constructive to add to the table ..which is any given day in Washington . This attorney crap - which the Clintons set a precedent in firing all of them - should not be allowed to continue . We have important things facing our nation ; yet Democrats continue to muck up every one of the the issues they abused 10 times over - and get away with it . If we need any hearings at all ; it should be un-American acticviity in the U.S. Senate .

Not at all. I believe the balance of Power has returned to Washington. I have never like it when one party has total control of the Government.
Also... just because one is a Democrat, does not automatically make them a Liberal. That is very in-mature thinking.

Just regretting Pelosi. I think Democrats the world over were regretting Pelosi. First female speaker, yes, but she's got no political cajones.
As for enjoying being in power and powerless - consider it to be a prelude to '08. And then I'll ask you, how does it feel to invest so much in a failing president?

For the past six years when the GOP controlled congress there was no accountability of Bush he was given free hand while the GOP congress gave him rubber stamp. This is still a democracy and voters voted to change leadership in congress. Can you image if GOP was still in control today what Bush would be getting away with?

We are not powerless. We are questioning everything the president does - no longer going to let them get away with all the ridiculous crap anymore.
We are pressuring to take new action in Iraq. Petreus can tell the Iraqis that they better listen up and solve their issues or else that "crazy Pelosi" is going to pull out all the troops. I think this will have an effect over there.

I helped campaign against Murtha. He is in the next legislative district so I was not able to vote for the opposition. I am ashamed of my Southwestern PA neighbors who voted him in, again.
Pelosi and Schumer: loud mouthed, obnoxious, extremist, left wing liberal loonies.
