I was watching I think Keith Olberman on MSNBC the other night and he was giving a 10min speech and at the top of the screen it said that we had decleared war with Iran. I type in searches to see if we have and I can't find anything saying that we have.

So I am pretty sure we have not decleared war but I am confused on why MSNBC would have a headline like that?

Well, something is afoot....because Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad abruptly canceled his planned trip to New York to address the U.N. Security Council.

A strike group led by the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis recently joined a similar force in the Persian Gulf led by the carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.

U.S. and British officials said a boarding party from the frigate HMS Cornwall was seized about during a routine inspection of a merchant ship inside Iraqi territorial waters near the disputed Shatt al-Arab waterway.

The seizure of two Royal Navy inflatable boats took place just outside the mouth of the Shatt al-Arab waterway, a 125-mile channel dividing Iraq from Iran. Its name means Arab Coastline in Arabic, and Iranians call it Arvandrud - Persian for Arvand River. A 1975 treaty recognized the middle of the waterway as the border.

Iranians send arms to Iraqi extremists, including sophisticated roadside bombs. This week, two commanders of an Iraqi Shiite militia told The Associated Press in Baghdad that hundreds of Iraqi Shiites had crossed into Iran for training by the elite Quds force, a branch of Iran's Revolutionary Guard thought to have trained Hezbollah guerrillas in Lebanon.

Iran is an Islamic dictatorship. President Ahmadinejad has vowed to "wipe Israel off the map," denied the Holocaust ever took place, and promises to unleash Islam's fury on the infidel (this means you, citizen of the usa), via, we can only suspect, a collection of less than honorable means (see 9/11, Islamic terrorism, support for Taleban, AlQaeda). The current leadership keeps telling the world that Iran's uranium enrichment program is designed to bring electricity to the people of his country. Do we believe that? Russia is selling Tehran components that may or may not lead to nuclear disaster, depending on Tehran's own agenda (It isn't personal - it's business). Read some of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's speeches (ravings) and try to remember why the US raced to develop the A-bomb before the Leaders of the Master Race or the Living God who ruled Japan had their chance to reshape civilization. After the US "invaded" Iraq, countless Iranian citizens sent out an SOS, begging the US to send the Marines into their country as well. The Iranian people want and deserve peace, security, and the rule of law.
Give Ahmadinejad nuclear capabilities, give him the benefit of the doubt -- and see how he returns the favor. Politically correct, this guy is not.
