Im so happy you stated this. i'm a stay at residing house mom and spouse. My husband is deployed to Iraq, and that i might value more highly than something to have the flexibility to cook dinner him good nutrition, and look after him, because of fact he's finding after me with the help of working very no longer hassle-free. women have been made to be loving and nurturing. I dont care what any independant, self suffecient lady has to declare. Their isn't something like genuine love the place you and your loved ones can do issues for an further.

Being a husband I know how to iron, wash clothes
clean the house, do the dishes, cook and anything
that my wife knows how to do except conceive, so
some men do iron etc, etc, so no leg shackles for
me thank you.

My grandmother raised me. She ironed everything; my shirts, jeans, slacks, hankerchiefs, t-shirts, pillowcases, and bedsheets. I asked my wife before we got married if she ironed. She said, "Oh, of course, I won't wear anything wrinkled". I quickly found out that her idea of wrinkled and my idea of wrinkled were nowhere near the same. Consequently, I do my own ironing, just so I don't feel like an unmade bed when I go out. I think I have grounds for "breach of contract", but the sex is good enough that I won't file for it. Maybe I'll just start telling her that I don't think the grass is tall enough to be mowed yet.

This is what I do. I take all his clothes that need ironing. I wash them then put them in the dryer for about 10 minutes. Immediately I take them out and hang them very neatly on hangers, and spray them with Wrinkle Release(in the laundry section with the starch). They look very good without ironing

Iron only what is yours. He'll get the point when he looks and sees that your clothes are ironed and ready to go and he's is still crumbled in the corner. Sometimes you got to do a little tough love to stop from driving yourself crazy

You can get him to do that and a lot more with quiet submission. The more complain about things he is not doing , the more is not going to do them.
My husband was the same way, so I stopped complaining about it. I did it all myself, the cooking after I got home from work, the dishes before and after dinner etc. Not a complaint, and it did not take long either. Now, I do not cook, he does the laundry, the grocery, walks the dog and cleans from top to bottom. What do I do, pray from my husband and love him more and more every day for wanting to take of me

Tell him "Look here mother f***er, if you ever want to eat, have fun, or anything else I suggest you start ironing" LOL I'd buy one from ya. Make it shaped like a naked girl holding a beer. That'll keep em there for days.

Hubby used to do the ironing. I've long ago taken over that task from him. Don't know what I was thinking...lol. If I don't do his ironing, he will iron it himself.
