do you as a woman still appreciate a man who opens the car door for you OR are you a modern woman who does everything yourself?

I have to admit I like that bit of chivalry when a man holds the door for me.
But then I really appreciate when anyone holds a door open for me--whether it's a man or a woman or a child. And I hold the door open for all those people too.

I appreicate it when a man is a "gentleman" and holds the door open for me. I have tought it to my sons and am teaching it to my grandson. You can never have to many manners.

Open the door for me for gods sake!!!! Its the nice thing to do!!! However If you open the door for me just dont assume I'll open my bedroom door for you............................Thats the part that bothers me, many men assume that thats whats going on!!!

i'm sure that kind of stuff is nice but i like 2 b independent. i don't like it if someone needs a guy 2 do something 4 them...
