Dog or chicken fights are much more common than you may think. They are terribly inhumane and an embarrassment to the human race. They are, of course, against the law, but the crime is a misdemeanor. There is a law passed by the House which would make the participation of the "sport" a felony.
Do you think making the crime a felony result in a decrease in this kind of animal abuse?
