Dog or chicken fights are much more common than you may think. They are terribly inhumane and an embarrassment to the human race. They are, of course, against the law, but the crime is a misdemeanor. There is a law passed by the House which would make the participation of the "sport" a felony.
Do you think making the crime a felony result in a decrease in this kind of animal abuse?

I think that any human being covicted of a crime like that should have to step into a boxing ring with Mike Tyson. And after the match, they should have to share a cell with Tyson. Oh yes, and Tyson is fed Viagra daily while in prison.

That should about do it.

No I don't. Any animal cruelty should be a felony. I think it might help some, but people still commit murder even when they know there's a death penalty. I think there will always be evil somewhere in this world.

What a cruel thing to do to an animal. These people should get the max penalty for their participation.
