I just picked up this used washing machine that somebody threw away on my newspaper route. It was next to a dryer that was taken apart, so i figured it worked alright. I called up the former owner, and i guess their is nothing wrong with it. Since i sell on Craigslist, i was wondering what i should sell it for. I was thinking $40.00.

I think you could get $40.00 for it. just put your add in asking $40.00 or bast offer. If it doesn't sell, then drop the price. It is worth a shot!! Hope this helps, and good luck!!!

Depending on what it looks like, if it still works then 40-100 depending how old or beat up it is. I have bought 2 used washers out of the paper I paid 60 for one and 80 for the other, but both where in great shape.

You got it for free. Whatever you sell it for is all profit. If it is in good shape then ask 40 or 50 for it. You should be able to get that easy.

You don't even know if it works..hook it up and see if it goes thru all the cycles, then sell it..(there's probably something wrong with it or the guy wouldn't have thrown it out) 40 bucks is fair.

Nobody is going to pay you anything for it.. You can give it away for free and hopefully someone will take it. If not you can take it to the dump, where they will charge YOU $30 for taking it.
